Asus Eee PC T91 Touchscreen Tablet available now for just £396.73 inc VATIts 8.9 inch screen resembles larger 10-inch rivals by having a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution display. The touchscreen uses both finger touches and a stylus, and utilises the Windows XP operating system. Asus also includes its own "Touch Dock" software, bringing with it a host of finger-friendly applications, and also increases the size of some of the menu bars.
As you can see above, the screen is hinged in the centre, and swings round 180 degrees, before folding flat for tablet use.
An Intel Atom Z520 chip provides the processing power, as in Sony’s VAIO P-series, running at 1.33GHz, and backed by 1024MB of memory.
This is speeded up by using 16GB of solid state memory. Battery life is also aided by the SSD, and lasts for over 5 hours between charges.
