It's official: Windows 7 coming 22 October
Microsoft launch Windows 7 on October 22 2009. The operating system is released in six separate editions. The versions you are most likely to be interested in are the Home Premium and Professional editions. All but the most basic edition of the software are available in 32 and 64 bit versions. Those buying a family pack of Windows 7 will be able to install the software on up to three PCs. The Home Premium edition of the software will cost £79.99 until 1 January 2010, at which point it will go up to £99.99. However many stores will be offering discounts.
